Some words feel better when written by hand, and good friendships is one of them. This tray revives the lost art of cursive, that elegant script once practiced in schoolrooms and penned lovingly across letters, diaries, and keepsakes. Each looping stroke and imperfect flourish reminds us that handwriting was once an act of intimacy, a way to slow down and say something that mattered.
Handcrafted in our New York atelier in the French tradition of découpage, every bent-glass tray is made one at a time, layered with vintage penmanship on a warm cream ground, then signed by Ben himself. The glass is food-safe, effortlessly wipe-clean, and felted on the back so it rests softly wherever it lands.
Designed to be used or displayed, it hangs beautifully with a plate hanger or stands gracefully on an easel. And like all of our pieces, it arrives with a card detailing our time-honored découpage process.
A small tribute to the tenderness of handwriting, and to the friendships that shape us, sustain us, and make every chapter sweeter.
