Shopping Policy
Thank you for welcoming Ben’s Garden into your home. Each piece is designed in New York City and individually handcrafted using traditional techniques and thoughtfully selected materials. Every item is carefully inspected before it leaves our studio.
Because many of our products are made by hand and produced in small batches, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, cancellations, price adjustments, or refunds once an order has been placed.
We encourage you to review your order carefully before completing checkout, including quantities, fragrance selections, personalization details, shipping address, and payment information. Orders begin processing promptly and cannot be modified once submitted.
All orders are shipped insured via third-party carriers. Title to merchandise and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon our delivery of the order to the carrier.
If a package arrives damaged in transit, the customer must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. Please retain all packaging materials and damaged items, as carriers typically require inspection and documentation. Ben’s Garden is not responsible for damage incurred during transit and does not issue refunds or replacements for carrier-related damage.
Ben’s Garden is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
If you believe you have received a defective item due to a manufacturing issue, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at hello@bensgarden.com, including your order number and clear photographs.
If we determine, in our sole discretion, that the item has a verified manufacturing defect, we will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include replacement or store credit. Variations inherent to handmade production, including minor irregularities in finish, color, texture, or placement, are not considered defects.
A Ben’s Garden gift card, physical or digital, keeps its full value while it waits. In accordance with New York State law, cards purchased on or after December 10, 2022 remain valid for at least nine years from the date of purchase, and cards purchased between August 22, 2010 and December 9, 2022 remain valid for at least five years. We never charge inactivity, service, or other post-purchase fees of any kind.
If your remaining balance falls below $5, we will gladly redeem it for cash upon request. For a balance check or any question about your card, write to hello@bensgarden.com or ask in any of our stores.
Ben’s Garden reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy at its discretion and to update it at any time without prior notice. The version posted on bensgarden.com at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
