It feels like finding an old atlas in a favorite bookshop, then realizing it was made for your table.
In our New York studio we practice the quiet ritual of French decoupage. The map is laid in reverse on the underside of the glass, sealed with hand-brushed varnish, then softly bent so light moves across it like morning on the Hudson. The back is felted, the surface wipes clean, the piece is food safe, and Ben signs each one before it leaves the bench. A folded note telling the time-honored process travels with it.
