You step outside for coffee and come home with a story.
A flower stand spilling onto the sidewalk. Music drifting through an open window. Dinner squeezed onto a tiny table, with another chair somehow found. New York has a way of turning an ordinary day into something you want to keep.
This tray captures that exuberance in brilliant red and bold white lettering. NEW YORK, NEW YORK fills the glass, with “the Wonder City” tucked beneath it like a promise. The artwork’s weathered details lend it the charm of a beloved discovery, something you might find in an old shop and carry home without a second thought.
Handcrafted in our New York studio using the French tradition of decoupage, each piece brings the artwork beneath luminous bent glass. Individually signed by Ben, it is a small celebration of the city where we create.
Let it bring a flash of red to a stack of art books, hold the jewelry from an evening out, or serve something sweet with an afternoon espresso. It is an invitation to make a little room for delight, even on the busiest days.
Give it to the friend who always knows a place, the person beginning their New York chapter, or the one who still lights up at the mention of the city.
Food safe, with a felted underside. Wipe clean. Suitable for hanging with a plate hanger or displaying on a gallery easel. Each tray arrives with a folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process.
