Two Peas In A Pod Decoupage Glass Tray

$42.00

| /

A Victorian wink to soulmates, two elegant figures stroll in pea green, buttoned with bright pearls, a charming nod to the phrase we all know by heart, two peas in a pod.

In our New York studio we practice French découpage with quiet precision: the artwork is laid in reverse on the underside, sealed with hand-brushed varnish, the glass gently bent to catch the light. The back is felted for a soft landing, the surface wipes clean, the piece is food safe, and Ben signs each tray before it leaves the bench. A folded card travels with it, sharing the time-honored process that marries paper to glass.

Set it by the door for rings and keys, on a bar cart for limes and olives, or stand it upright to make guests smile, a love token meant to be used, admired, and kept together.

This tray exceeded my expectations in every way. The illustration of the two peas is whimsical, but the execution is refined and thoughtful. The glass has a polished clarity, the decoupage is seamless, and the entire piece feels like it belongs in a beautifully curated home. It is both functional and poetic. I’ve gifted Ben’s trays before, but this one might be my new favorite. It is a small but meaningful reminder that some things, and some people, are simply meant to be together.

Delivery was quick. Packaging was beautiful. Five-star service!

I adore this piece. It is clever, nostalgic, and incredibly well made. The artwork feels like it was pulled straight out of a Victorian storybook and the quality of the glasswork elevates it into something collectible. The hand-brushed varnish, the soft felt backing, the signature on the bottom, it all adds up to a tray that feels personal and intentional. I put it on my bar cart with limes and cocktail picks and guests comment on it constantly. A standout addition to any home. It's sitting in my living room!

This tray is pure charm. The illustration is witty and romantic without being saccharine, and the craftsmanship is truly exceptional. The glass has this beautiful, luminous bend to it that catches the light in all the right ways. You can feel the handwork, from the reverse decoupage to the felted back. It is a small piece with a big presence. I keep mine by the door for keys and rings and it makes me smile every time I walk in. A perfect little love token. Katie will love it!
