Love often enters quietly. In the middle of an ordinary life, it changes the light. Inscribed beneath glass are the words, “Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.” They belong to weddings, anniversaries, and the ordinary mornings that become a life together.

This tray gives rings beside the bed, letters on a desk, or keys by the door a home of their own. Its vintage script is composed on a warm cream ground, layered beneath bent glass, and finished by hand in our New York City atelier. Ben signs every piece.

Decoupage is a centuries-old French technique built on patience: paper laid beneath glass, varnish applied by hand, and every layer given time to settle. We have practiced this work in New York since 1992. Food-safe and wipe-clean, with a felted back, the finished piece is made to hold a small piece of who you are.

Rest it flat, hang it with a plate hanger, or display it on a gallery easel. A folded card telling the story of the time-honored decoupage process accompanies every piece.
