Our Vintage Norway Spruce tray holds a stately evergreen — strongly pyramidal, lush with layered boughs — like the memory of a northern wood and the promise of the season to come, capturing the hush of Christmastime when evergreens move from the wild into our homes. Handcrafted in our New York studio in the French tradition of decoupage, the artwork is laid in reverse beneath crystal-clear glass, sealed with fine varnishes, and burnished until the needles seem to glow from within. Each tray is individually signed by Ben, food safe and wipe-clean, with a felted back that lands softly on marble or wood. Hang it with a plate hanger or stand it on a gallery easel; a folded card explaining the process is tucked inside. Set it on a mantel with candles or a bar cart for seasonal cocktails — proof that the best traditions age gracefully.
